Patrizia Salvatori
born in Asmara (Ethiopia) on December 18, 1954 - obtains
High School graduation in Rome in 1965 attending at the
same time the courses at the Rome National Academy of
Dance; then she obtained the Dance Perfectioning Qualification
in 1977.
 In 1978
she founds the Gruppo Danza Oggi cultural association,
with the scope to create and distribute abroad the various
productions made.
In 1981
she attends advanced choreographic courses at the London
Contermporary Dance School. Her production "MUSANCE"
Dance and live music is the fruit of this experience:
an ensamble of 4 dancers and 4 musicians who perform together
on the stage emotioning and fascinating all audiences.
In 1986
she starts and directs her own dance school.
From 1989 she collaborates for five years with the High
School of Gymnastic of Rome (ISEF) as choreographer of
the group involved in the body's language under the guide
of Professor L.Mosca.
The journal "ALLO' PROPOSTE" offers her space
for publications and in 1993 she starts collaboration
with the magazine "DANZASI", in which the various
norms and regulations of this sector are discussed.
In 1994
she attends a course at the LUISS University of Rome on
the subject of the Show-Business Management.
In 1994
she conducts together with actors, musicians and stage
directors a number of laboratories on body activities
and new languages within the integrated high school programs,
i.e. VII° Municipality, Grammar School Vittorini -
the School Afro with a body expression course under the
auspices of Prof. M.Pieget; a dance theater at the Parco
di Vejo elementary school, Laboratory of music and dance
at the High School of Tivoli, in 2003 a dance theater
course under the auspices of A.T.C.L.(the Lazio Theaters
Association) plus laboratories in the various schools
of the Region.
From 1997
she has been involved in the languages of the youth, taking
care of their specific organization also with the support
of some professional people.
From 1998
she supervises and produces the works of choreographer
Enzo Celli, leader of the Botega Group, under the care
of "Gruppo Danza Oggi" of which she is the artistic
director in so far as the offers received and the selections
to be made are concerned, always in line with the professional
dance activity. |
