The project "ENZO
CELLI MEETS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE"
an opportunity, a cultural challenge to render a service
to the territory
GRUPPO DANZA OGGI (cultural association) has always
been committed with the pursuit of project directed to
the promotion and spreading of culture, through initiatives
that can create a big net of activities from formation
to production, from talent scouting to touring, from the
activity of dance seminars in the public schools to the
reconversion of the show business professionalities. thank
to the commitment of the G.D.O. promoters, and of Patrizia
Salvatori "in primis".
G.D.O. follows up with particular interest the juvenile
movements and the languages of the new generations attracted
by the overseas model and realizes annually initiatives
that involve the school attendants, by means of interactive
laboratories and integrated performances with students
and professional artists, the use of these new languages,
a deep formation work for audiences, all this maintaining
the greatest attention in respect of the national traditions.
THE MOTIVATION
Association GRUPPO
DANZA OGGI, in view of its constant engagement in the
pursuit of projects directed to promotion and spreading
of culture involving diversified age sectors and leading
principally to a correct audience formation and at the
same time recovering the national cultural roots, has
found in the terrritory of Ciociaria a most interesting
basin G.D.O. has then perceived in Enzo Celli, a youngman
of ciociaria, thirty years old, very fond of his territory,
creative and histrionic, somehow like a circensen, an
athlet, a dancer, a puppet singer, the most significant
element in the artistic panorama of the Region as well
as a reference figure for the youngsters, that he succeeds,
with his national-popular taste, to involve in his work,
creating moments of great impact and energy, of joyful
and simple pleasure, emotion and poesy.
Tradition and innovation, but with an excellent knowledge
of the music bases, of the rhythms, of the ethnic-funk-rock
music and also the technologies and the potentialities
of the young people in line with a fresh and true tie
with the territory, where he maintains firmly his location
of life and work, though operating in the Capital too.
In the project we thought we should start from the expressions
themselves of the to-day's juvenule world, from its languages,
its tendencies so as to design, in the regional territory,
a simple route of events, each of these to be preceded
by a moment of common formation with intensive stages
open to all the interested people, not disjoined from
the local realities of tradional popular dances.
G.D.O. is capable, thank to its twentyfive years experience
of a transparent administration and knowledge of market
requirements, to operate in line with an adminitration
plan based on its own financial means, in respect of which
the public support will only be a moderate item of budget.
THE STAFF
The project "ENZO CELLI MEETS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE"
- an opportunity, a cultural challenge to render a service
to the territory, will avail itself of the organizational
and teaching ability of Patrizia Salvatori, who has been
occupied for many years in the curricula projects for
the Grammar Schools and has elaborated effective methodologies
for an approach to dance on the part of non-selected students.
The Artistic Direction is instead a concern of Enzo Celli,
SORANO DOP, who will also coordinate the formative areas,
the preparation and direction of the spectacle "Immòo
?" inserted in the Scenoma Festival, becoming eventually
the Artistic Director of the Festival itself.
As regards the formative areas Master Celli will have
available the collaboration of a staff of professionists
of the sector, coordinated and supervised by him.
The G.D.O. Administrative Coordinator will be Claudia
Visentin and Dr. Ilaria Paolisso will be the delegate
for the Sora Municipality.
THE ACTIVITY
The project, that has an intra-regional characteristic,
will start in February 2007 and conclude in July 2007
by means of an unedited spectular realization, directed
by Master Enzo Celli, who will obtain the involvement
of all the schools that will decide to adhere.
The project forsees the adherence and participation both
of the public and private sectors, with different rules:

Within the Public Sector - dance laboratories will be
started inside the schools, from elementary to high school
levels, with the collaboration and support of the Municipalities
concerned.. A calendar will be set up giving dates of
encounters with professional people of the sector, who
will use these occasions to stimulate young people towards
the world of arts, arriving at the elaboration of a choreography
that will be part of the unedited spectacle "Immoo?",
specifically realized for the Scenoma Festival the debut
being fixed for July 4th at Santa Restituta Square of
Sora.
• Within the Private Sector - the
above will instead take place with the contribution of
the
Centres and/or of the students who will adhere to the
project, for whom too the laboratories will be organized,
more specifically finalized, according to a calendar of
encounters to be defined. Also during these encounters,
choreographies will be developed and these, like those
of the public sector, will become part of the "Immòo?"
spectacle. The private schools will be requested to adhere
to the project with a minimum number of 10 participants
so as to offer choreographer Enzo Celli a better and more
attractive work. |
